Looking forward 2011

Another year is just about to come to a close. Another year is about to break over the horizon and bring all sorts of new challenges, new success stories and new ideas. We'll see how 2011 goes, but for now I'm looking forward to it. Mainly because of the ITF European championships are being held in Cork. Our very own Cork, so we can bring a big enough team I'm hoping.

I'm very excited about the coming year mainly because we have a number of cracking competitors starting to shine, and they are all at the right age of 10 and 11 years old. Some of these guys look like they've been competing for years. This year will be a great test for them. That's where my time is going to be spent for the next while, trying to get these guys to reach they're full potential.

Also shining at the moment are the loyal few at the top, I've a feeling we could have a couple of new teenage European championships come June. I hope it all goes well for them. If they put the effort in they will get the rewards for it.

We'll have a pile of tournaments this year also, we're going to try and get to as many as possible. The WAKO world championships are happening in Ireland also this year. That should be a super event too.

So all in all a very busy year ahead, I hope yours will be as busy as ours, but not as fun :D
